Flywheel help
Sup everyone,
I need a little help here. I tried to search flywheels, but nothing really turned up and I didnt know if I should post this question in the drivetrain, or engine section. But here goes.
I have a 88' Iroc with the 305 TPI, and will be needing to change out the clutch in the coming months, since the flywheel and clutch are still the originals, I figured I upgrade the flywheel, to a billet aluminum one. But heres the problem. I don't know if it's a 168t or 153t. Does it make that much of a difference, will either one fit my application, or better yet, fit in the bellhousing? Like Fidanza flywheel is a 168t, but the Hay's is a 153t. I'm so confused. Plus, the Fidanza is the only one that makes mention of it replacing the original dual mass flywheel. That makes me think thats the right one.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, if you changed out your flywheel, which company did you use and there part number.
