Rear end ID
I have an 86 Firebird parts car, The rpo code list is long gone. How can i tell what gears it has and if it has a posi? The car is a lg4 auto and it has drum brakes on the rear

Engine: 588 Alcohol BBC
Transmission: Powerglide
Axle/Gears: Ford 9"/31 spline spool/4.86
A 1986 LG4 auto will have 2.73 gears. You'll have to jack up a wheel to see if it's a posi or not.
