Does the Zexel Torsen Use C Clips?

Does the Zexel Torsen Use C Clips?
I just got my 28 spline axles from the salvage yard ($20) and I wanted to see if they fit my Zexel Torsen unit. It fits but looking at the carrier I wondered if there was room for the C clips.
Can I keep my stock C clips and use the Zexel carrier? Thanks!
