Here are my specs and questions

My car is a 91 firebird, 305 tbi, 700 r automatic.

donor- 1986 firebird TA, 5 speed.

will the manual parts (fly wheel) bolt up o.k?

 

If the donor is a V-8, yes. If it's a V-6, no

 

Does anyone know if i have to change the prom for this???. i really need to know

help!!!!!

The flywheel may or may not bolt up, as '86 seems to be one of those "transition" years, so some 305's had two-piece and others (most?) had one-piece rear main seals. My '86 auto has one-piece, but you'd better check.

The PROM won't be a problem. A lockup signal will be sent, but won't have anywhere to go and won't cause the rest of the ECM to do anything different.
