NEED SOME HELP. PLEASE!!!
NEED SOME HELP. PLEASE!!!
I installed a shift kit in my 87 700R4.
No problem, except, I noticed today when I was fixing the leak I created by tearing the boot that goes around the dipstick as it goes into the tranny, that all the bolts around the perimeter of the pan were loose?!
What would cause this, what can I do to fix them so they stay secured? Also, my pressure regulater, with reverse and TV valve keeps dropping out of the bore, the retainer that fits into the groove at the bottom of the bore keeps popping out, I'm not sure what's going on with that, am I creating too much pressure in my tran. or is the retainer weak? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated...

Snug your bolts down real good and if they come loose gain use Lock Tight on them. The only problem with that is changing your fluid. As for the TV clamp make sure its actually in there because they are a real ***** .If just the slightest part of the clamp is out of the groove it wont hold.I hope this helps.
