Locking vs Non-Locking Torque Convertor ????

Locking vs Non-Locking Torque Convertor ????

How much RPM different is there between the two? Are we talking 500 or less?
Just trying to justify of getting the locking vs non-locking. Of course the Non-Locking is cheaper

I just don't see how that I'm going to see to much MPG difference in the city driving. But I can see maybe a difference in the highway.
