Found a loose wire, what does it connect to??

Found a loose wire, what does it connect to??
While underneath my car today i saw a loose connector, so i followed it up to where the wires connect to the trans. this on comes off the same harness as the wires that connect to the trans, but goes on back to about where the driveshaft starts.

Yes, it works, as far as I know everything works except for the oil pressure gauge. i looked around under there and couldn't find anthing to connect it to. Any ideas?

Axle/Gears: Auburn w/ 3.73's, 3.42
I have a '91 Z w/ a 5-speed but have the same unknown wire....I have no clue what it goes to but everything works, probably an extra for some option we obviously don't have... :-)

I have an 89rs also and I have the same wire and not to worry, it is extra. I do have some other questions I would like to ask you since we have the same car and I don't want to take up this space to ask all the questions I have so give me an e-mail. Thanks
