Don't worry 'bout it.... The dipstick isn't that accurate anyway and 3-5mm's is nothing bad. 3-5 inches is bad.

I drove it a little and rechecked and it actually is about a centimeter, i just dont want it getting too hot or whatever and blowing all over the engine...

any other comments?

You could get one of those fluid pumps and siphon some out from the dipstick tube.

Another trick is if you have access to air and have a blower nozzle is to take a length of vacuum line and about an inch from the end put a slice in it and jab the air nozzle into the cut. This will start a vacuum to pull the fluid up out of the dipstick hole, just watch because it could blow all over the place.
