Car: 87 Vette

Engine: 355/195AFR/SR/219CAM/1.6

Transmission: TH700R4/Vigilante

Axle/Gears: D44/3.45

TH 200 AND 350 combo /TH2004r

I was wonderin that i have a 2.8 V6 if i swap only the engine how will my TH200C will work ??or will the 350 destroy the tranny ??
help me out guys¡¡
and can i put a 2004r or a TH400/350in my 2.8 V6 ??how will it perform ?it is a direct swap??

First off you won't be able to bolt a 350 in place of a 2.8- different bellhousing. I would get a V-8 700 and use the VB and governor from the 2.8 since it will match your 5500 RPM WOT shift points of your original 3.42 geared car. Use the tail housing from the 2.8 too.
