speedo

Howdy, i just bought my first camaro and the speedometer dosent work. Was wondering what i should check for and if the 87 iroc-z is a cable driven or electronic speedometer sorry if this is in the worng section any help would be great thanx

87 iroc had cable driven speedo. go undr your car and unhook the cable from your tranny make sure the cable is good. then check behind your speedo and see if its okay. if it still doesnt work you may need to replace your speedo.
