Tranny question
Hey all,
This isn't a 3rd gen tranny but when you first start the car and drive it, it doesn't want to shift into 3rd (top gear) until about 10-15 minutes of driving. Is this indicative of a tranny failure? The car has only been driven like 3 times in the last nine years, so that may have something to do with it.

Car: 84 Z28
Engine: 355 (fastburn heads, LT4 HOT cam)
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 9-bolt, 3.27
What kind/year of vehicle/transmission? Without knowing what tranny it is, it would be hard to tell.
