Engine: 408ci Stroker, 520hp 515Ft.Lbs.
Transmission: Outlaw 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3:73
700r4 CLUTCH?
Ok, due to a fualty t.v. cable, I can no longer get 3rd gear, my question is can the band be tightened or anything for that matter, or am I screwed? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks Guys!

If it helps any, I was not getting on the throttle at all when it would not shift to 3rd, just rev'd real high in 2nd

The band is only applied in 2nd and 4th so I don't think that is your problem. Besides there is no adjustment to make. More than likely your 3-4 clutch is smoked. Pretty common.

Yeah I figured as much, just kinda hoping though, I changed a bunch of trannies in my time but never rebuilt one. Nice car by the way too. Very Nice. Thanks man
