New gears for 9-bolt or Junkyrd 10-bolt rearend?
Just found out the noise my car was making was a tooth or so that came off the pinion in my 9-bolt. Do you think it's better to pay and have someone set up new 3.45s on a worn posi 9-bolt rear, or get a 4th gen 3.42 rear and put it in myself? Which do you think is cheaper/easier/faster? Girlfriend is already bitchin and it's only been 3hrs. $400-800 maybe? central FL
same thing happened to me, tooth came off the pinion gear, just curios to know what u did ?? and my girlfreind is btchin as well
