I saw the Hurst Dual Gate Shifter in the Year One Catalog and I really liked it. Does anyone have experience with one these, pro's/con's? Do I have to modify the tranny in any way? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

 

from what i heard it only takes 30 min to install. No modifications at all. Diont buy through year one though. Its too expensive, try jegs or summit

 

There are no modifications required to the transmission, but you will have to cut the console top between the ashtray and the shifter area. The ashtray insert will have to be removed and won't fit after installing. Installation takes more like an hour to get everything lined up, but it is pretty much a bolt-in. Even the stock cables and switches are used.
