Hi there,

I recently had a buddy give me a TH350 tranny for free and I want to put it in my 82 Trans Am. As I understand it, the 200C has a TC lockup, but the 350 I got does NOT. Can I just swap this in and leave the electrical wire for lockup unplugged or does something else need done? This car isn't going to be a daily driver but more of a show car, so I'm not concerned about gas mileage.

I'm a Tranny newbie, still learning!

I have a 200c right right now, and I dont remember plugging in an electric plug when reinstalling it, but i do remember seeing a hole for it in the trans.... but it still works fine so that may be your answer.
