I recently replaced my 2.77 rear with a 3.73 rear and i performed the speedo gear change. My problem is while driving the electronic speedo stops showing speed & when i took off the tail section of the trans the Gry drive gear part #(8642620) slides all the way forward in the trans and yes i made sure i had the gears lined up properly. Ive replaced the gry drive gear( 8642620) & the Lt. blue 45 tooth part #(25513052) twice! Are these 2 gears designed to work togeher or what? The small metal clip was installed booth times & the second time i made sure that it was locked in place but the gear after a few miles still moved out of place. If u guys think that two gears are wrong for each other please let me know asap! Also dont forget , I have the electronic speedo.
