Torque converters.

I'm looking for a 2800-3000stall converter for the my 700R4, that can be locked up on the highway.

Interested in something that's good in quality and reasonable in price, around 500 bucks preferably.

I'd like a vigilantee but, it's a bit out of my pricerange right now, and i only see me runnng the 700r for 2-3 years of limited use.

Any suggestions?

probably want some specs on the car.
350 10.4/1 compression, XE274 cam. 780 holley vac sec carb, 3.73 rear,w/26in tires.
Racing wieght appox 3400lbs.

I am a distributor for ACT, they have a torque converter very similar to the Vigilante. It is a 9.5" lockup with a 2,800-3,000 rpm stall that sells for $535.00. It comes with a one year warranty and a free stall change if you need it. Takes about a week to have it built. I would need all the information on the motor, rear end gear ratio, type of driving etc.? If you decide this what you want to do give me a call at 800 7763288 Mon-Sat 10-6 PST and I will answer any questions you might have.
Glad Too Help!!!
