LQQK>>>>>>>HELP STALL!!!!!!

I have a 350 TPI very highly modified, with a squirt of juice!!! The lower is done heads trans u name it, for the intake its stock but ported and opened up, thats why im askin because it might not go good with this intake setup. Will a 3000-3500 be too high for me, I got it for 125 bucks, brand new from a friend!!!!! Everything is done up on my car, except for the stall which is stock, and the rearend. The rearend is getting takin care of!!!!
Will this be to high or no?

That seems a little on the high side. Your converter should stall where your engine begins to make a good deal of power. That size stall seems more appropriate for a 383/race engine. Lots of gas needed to run on the street.

TPI Normally doesn't flow more than 500 CFM which is ok for most street driving. It'll give you about 5000 RPM. If you did a good job porting you might be able to get 550 or 600 CFM maybe. If you want to run this 3000-3500 stall then you only have about 3000 RPM worth of driving room. I assume that you know that your valve springs and rotating assembly can go to 6000. It should be real good for racing, because that's where you want to run. If you run it on the street, you're going to be constantly slipping and building a lot of heat in your trans. If it were me I'd install it, drive it, and then make a decision. Good Luck.

Thanks guys, I didnt mention that I will have a transcooler to for it, will that keep the heat down? I was told that I should be shifting at 6500, im shiftin at like 5700, this isnt really drivin on the street alot, maybe like 3 out of the 7 days. My buddy has a 97z and he has a 3800 in his, and you cant even tell until he torques it up, I would assume mine would be the same
