I changed the diferental fluid in both my 92 RS(open rearend) and my 95 Z28(posi) yesterday. The 95 is making noises now but the 92 is not. I put Posi additive in the 95. It only has 44,000 on the car. Could it be low on fluid or what? It was quiet before I changed the fluid and now it kind of makes a clanking noise. Please Help! Thanks

What kind of additive did you use?

 

Could it be low on fluid or what?
I hope you filled it to the top when you changed it and then checked it when you heard any noise. Did you add enough additive?
