T5 throwout bearing clearance?

Does anyone know what the clearance between the throwout bearing and pressure plate fingers are supposed to be? I bought an adjustable pivot ball to remedy a high clutch engagement and I need to know how much space there's supposed to be between the bearing and pressure plate. The throwout bearing was touching the plate fingers before so I need to back out the pivot ball some. Thanks.
