Tranny shifts way to early

I had my 700r4 rebuilt last year with a kit from probuilt. And now my car shifts at 39 mph into overdrive and it shakes violently. The converter is a new 3500 lockup from vigilante. I only have 1000 miles on both and have only taken it to the track once. Anyone have any ideas what could be the problem?

x2 - sounds like an improperly adjusted TV cable. There's about a million threads on here with the info on how to adjust it correctly. I'd suggest looking into it before possibly burning the trans up.

If the cable is correctly set, then does the trans still have the correct governor in it?
