T56 Questions

Just got my T56 out of a '95 Camaro, and I'm in the process of installing it in my car, which is an A4. I've done searches and read all the tech articles, but I have a few questions for anyone who's done this before.

1. When wiring up the neutral start safety switch, where do the yellow and purple wires go to? There are four small wires, 2 per connecter which look exactly the same on the pedals. Does it matter which go where?

2. When bolting the pedal assembly on, there is one 13mm bolt on top that holds it to the bottom of the dash. The hole for this bolt doesn't line up with the 4th gen pedal assembly. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it that important?

3. Are there any other electrical connectors that come with a T56 besides the ones on the pedals?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

first the pedals will fit but one bolt is off due to the dfferent column 2nd the speedo will have to be recalibrated auto meter sells a box to do this without changing gears the purple and yellow wires are ran from the shifter block under the radio to the dash and over to the neutral safety switch i just wired them together(i broke my n.s.s in the process of the conversion doesn't hurt you as long asyou don't start it in gear most people push the clutch in to start it anyway.you'll also need to wire the reverse lites

Thanks, PETE. I made that bolt line up by drilling the bracket. As for the neutral safety switch, what does it look like and what color/size are the wires?

Thanks for the link, Chris. I found out today that I didn't even get a neutral safety switch with my tranny, so I had to get one from the dealer. The wires on it are much bigger than that other thing (still don't know what it is, oh well). Things are starting to add up now. Thanks for all the help.
