I have a 1995 z28 6 speed transmission that I am putting in my 91z28. My friend gave me his stock flywheel off his 96 SS and I bought a used bellhousing on ebay. My problem is that I need the bolts that hold the pressure plate to the flywheel and the ones that the dealer sent me today are on 1 inch long and are way to short. did GM make a different pressure plate between 93-97? the deler showed me a bunch of diagrams and the are 2 differnet flywheels that they sell. he says that there is a MM6 and L49 6 speed. He says you cant mismatch the parts between the two trannys. is there a way to tell if the tranny I have is a MM6 or not.Also they offer 2 different clutch/slave cylinders which one do I need.
