What could this be?
I test drove a IROC today. From a dead stop. If floored the car just starts to roll and you hear a big BANG from underneath and then the car takes off. When you hear the bang its like a huge jerk.
What could this be?
Its a 5.7L IROC
It shifts into 2nd 3rd and 4th fine.

People In the general forum said its Prob a transmission mount, so I figured id post here. How do I know if its the transmission mount?

Car: 1991 Z28
Engine: 5.7 Stealth Ram
Transmission: Pro-Built 700R4
Just needs a tranny mount....$15 part..easy installation...the mount is two peices of rubber and they have seperated...i suggest a poly bushing to replace it...
