i have a remanufactured 700r4 in my 91 trans am gta with a 350 tpi. it shifts fine except for this one spot. if you floor it from 1st gear when i goes to shift into 2nd gear about like 5,000 rpm it kind of like rides or drags the rps for a few seconds. would this be as simple as adjusting the tv cable? the trans has about 1,500 miles on itwho ever ownded teh car before me has a zip tie at the end of the tv cable so im guessing it has stretched so i may buy a new tv cable.

sounds like the cable broke. might need a new one or it needs adjusted?
