Hi I'm from the Romeo area, about 30 miles north of Detroit, gotta 87 700r4 for $100, going in my 92 RS. I was told that it ran fine before it was pulled for a built Th-350 that came with another engine the seller got from his grandpa. I am a bit skeptical, however, and don't want to install my new engine and then have the trans crap out on me.

So does anyone know of a reliable yet reasonably priced shop where I can get my 700r4 rebuilt?

On the flipside how much time, effort and skill is involved in rebuilding it yourself?
