Engine: none LSX! one day, 350tpi
Transmission: none t56 one day, t5
Axle/Gears: 9-bolt 3.45, 10 bolt 3.73
ls1/t5
is there any way to run a t5 with anls engine. i know its not ideal i cant afford to do a whole ls t56 swap right now

Possibly with a conversion bellhousing (McLeod), but you'll be throwing good money at bad. The crank flange is further in towards the motor to accomodate the longer LS1 T56 input shaft, and internal hyd slave cyl. Conventional (stock) T5/4-bolt bellhousings are sized for the SBC crank flange, which will leave a gap between input and crank/pilot.
