tranny mount Q's.

o.k., my tranny mount snapped again last night, this is the third one that's been put in since prom, "several months ago". It started when i got the tranny rebuilt, and the guy added a vette servo and a shift kit, along with boosting the line pressure. Well, i soon learned that my 2.8L had enough pep to chirp second gear, which i kinda liked doing. Well, the result of course is several snapped mounts. So, i'm wondering, the mount for a TPI 305 has a different number, and would it be stronger than the 2.8's mount, also will it bolt up. thanks.

Go with a poly mount and you wont have any snapping problems..they arent two peices like the GM ones

The poly mount is the only way to fly. Mine is toast in my TPI 305 again so I am changing to the poly mount.
