ok i own an 88 350 tpi iroc and my tranny hasa stage 2 shift kit in it i have never had one before so i canèt tell if its workin right the car when goin at normal speeds shifts normal sometimes i got to rev it up a bit to make it shift up one or it idles a bit high kinda annoyin but when i tramp the car it goes up to 5500 stays for a minute goes into 2nd goes up to 5500 thenwaits a minute goes into 3rd goes up to 5500 and so on i dont think its normal but them again i donèt know . and then the rear end is 2.77 the guy who use to own it done cookies with it alot and now that ive got it i tried it but only 1 tires spins and it wonèt whip itself around and its limited slip . and in the rain once i left the store and it spun hard and the right tire was only spinnin and it made a really weird moanin noise so if anyone readin this has had anythin like this happen or knows whats goin on message back

 

5500 RPM sounds about right for an IROC at WOT.
