I did a swap from a 2.8 V6 to a 5.0 V8 needing a 700R4 transmission and I have been having problems getting the shift cable to line up properly. When its in Park the car goes into Reverse, Reverse is Neutral, and Neutral is Drive, etc... I have probably tried 3 different times to fix this problem but it hasn't worked and it is suppose to be an easy fix. Does this mean I need to get a longer shift cable? What should I do?
