couple of tranny purchasing opinions
i have an 82 berlinetta, and i will be swapping in a 350HO crate this winter, and i figure that the stock 200c probably wont enjoy the torque diff between the lg4 and the crate. i will be getting a th350. what do i have to do to be able to connect my torque arm to the tranny. also, what other challenges will i face in the 200c to th350 swap. what is a decent price (hoping under 300) for a th350 that has been rebuilt. what questions should i ask about the rebuild. thanks
If you go with the TH350 you'll need a torque arm adapter. Summit has them. Make sure you get a long tailshaft TH350 or you'll be buying another driveline. If you want a good TH350 buy one out of the paper and have it rebuilt the way you want it. I got about $600 total into mine and it's sweet. Also your gas mileage will suck.
