I DON'T GET IT! (Overdrive prob)

Alrighty, I posted a message a few days ago regarding probs with my TV cable. I've adjusted this thing from one extream to the other, and the car WILL NOT shift into O.D. Are there any other problems that could hinder my results?

Band could be toast for one. First off, I am not sure what method you used but unless you have a TransGo Shift Kit installed, there is only ONE setting and that is it. You are wasting your time playing around with the TV setting.

I have also seen certain conditions that develop with age cause no 4th. Agaon, A TransGo Shift Kit will take care od that. You DO have the correct TV geometry (you didn't change the induction sytem from stock did you?) right?

Geometry is right on -- I bought the "tv made eazy" kit dealy from Bow Tie Overdrives when I did the conversion in my Vette. It came with all the stuff to adapt to my carb and the cable is nice and level. I think I'm probably with you on this one as this is the second 700R4 I've had in this car (I damaged the other one on a nasty bump)and I didn't have this issue before. I'll look into that transgo kit, thanks a lot!
