You are a genius!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My noise that I've been hearing was the E-brake adjustment bracket rubbing (sitting) on the driveshaft.
Every time that I got under the car, I had the E-brake on which pulled the bracket up so that it was not touching the driveshift. Last nite when I got under the car, I let the E-brake off, and sure enough it was on the driveshaft.
During my wheel hop episode, the passenger side wire just behind the adjustment bracket had popped out of the channel bracket that is mounted on the bottom side of the tranny tunnel. So I simply pushed the brake wire back into the guide bracket.
No more slinky noise!!!!!!
I dont know why the noise was coming from the front part of the console up near where the TC is located.
Thanks.

It made its noise seem to come from way up there because that's where the end of the cable is, right under the p-brake handle.... just like a violin, you don't hear the strings themselves, you hear them vibrate the body of the instrument.
Don't ask how I know where that noise comes from if you haven't already figured it out
