i put in a brand new shifter in my 87 iroc and its too hard to pull out of park.the other gears are hard to manipulate as well.the old stock shifter was fine.i have the cable routed just like it says no kinks or bends adjusted perfect and everything.i tried unhooking it from the trans and it shifts great.i did install a shift kit along with the new shifter change.i called b&m and they said to put a few washers under the spring that contacts the rooster comb to loosen it up some but i wanted to see if anyone elts has had this problem(and if that fixed it) b4 i pulled the messy pan agin whis i put in a drain plug now lol...... any ideas fellow 3rd gens..its so great to be able to come here and ask this stuff to fellow gear heads and everyone is very nice THANKS ALLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
