Speedometer History, Cable vs Electroic

From what I found, last year of cable speedo was 89. Is that right? Are there any 89 or earlier camaros that came stock with Electronic Speedos?

The Camaro was cable driven from 82-89 (though during that period there was the Berly with its space age digital dash).
