getting t-56 off LT1

getting t-56 off LT1

alright. can anybody tell what i need to do to get the tranny off of the engine. we have unbolted the bellhousing, and have slid it back about 5". it seems to be stuck. help please

have you pulled the clutch fork towards you yet? This is probably whats hanging it up. This trans uses a throwout bearing that is attached to the clutch pressure plate fingers. The fork should kind of pop out about 1"
