T-5 question
i found an 86 trans am with a five speed that ive been thinking about picking up for the tranny will this work in my 91 5.7 Z28?

it will work
everybody's going to tell you not to bother with a non-world class T5 (like the one you're talking about) but it will hold up if you don't abuse it. If it's cheap, go for it, but don't pay very much.

1983 Z28, NO T-tops, (unfortunately) Auto Transmission (hopefully not for long)

non wc t-5s can take some serious abuse, if u can get it cheap enough run it until it breaks then get it rebuilt.

400 sbc and a 6 spd in the works
