t-5 same size for V6 and V8
t-5 same size for V6 and V8
is the t-5 out of a 87 z28 with an lg4 engine the same as a t-5 out of an 87 firebird with a V6. is the bellhousing the same? the clutch? is the slave cylinder located in the same place. i believe the v-6 car has dual exhaust, is this a problem? thanks
The V6 t5 has a 13 spline input shaft
The V8 T5 has a 26 spline input shaft.
This there for the chutch form a V6 T5 will not work on the V8 t5 and vis ver!
Gear ratios are also different between the two.
you can get a 10.5 clutch disk for the V6 T5 but it is under the sunoma truck part listings.
Other that that there the same !

and remember that the bellhousings are different all together. you'll have to use a V8 bellhousing since the V6's in fbodies were 60* engines.
