cooler lines

So Im in the process of making my trans cooler lines and I realized I dont know which line is which- On my th350, looking at it from the side, the upper line goes to the top of the radiator, or the lower radiator? Im assuming thats how it would be but i dont want to bend the lines and realize im wrong.

Re: cooler lines

It doesn't really matter but the top line normally goes to the top of the tranny and the cooler.

Re: cooler lines

Sorry,
I think that sounded more confusing than I wanted it too,
I meant I think the top line from the trans should go to the upper fitting on the radiator and visa-versa am I right?

Re: cooler lines

it doesnt matter which goes where.
typically, you would bend them so that they stay parallel (offset the same distance) and the one coming out the top from the trans would go into the top hole, BUT, if its easier, or you mess up, and get it backwards, it really wont matter.
its going through the radiator either way and cooling off just the same.
