Junkyard or new tranny?

After I save up the necessary funds my da and I were planning on building a new engine for my camaro. We planned on building and installing a 383 Stroker motor of mostly used parts same as the rearend and hopefully the tranny. I was planning on swapping out my auto for a T-5 manual trans. Can I take all the parts needed off of a junked 3rd gen camaro and have it rebuilt or will I have to buy a new one altogether. I was planning on at least 300-400 hp out of this motor. Thanks for any help.

If you'd like to get your foot into that 383, forget the T5.
