All who have done the 700r4 to T5 swap.....

I have some questions for ya.
- When you did your T5 swap, how did you hook up the neutral safety switch?

-I noticed that the reverse light sensor on the 700r4 had 4 pins but the sensor on the T5 has 2 pins...what did you do?

-When you installed the pedals, did you lower the steering column or did you remove the whole thing?

-When you installed the T5, did you put the bellhousing on separately, or did you did you just put the whole tranny in at once?

Thanks guys.

i slpiced into the to wires that hook up to the auto shifter assembly/wire harness, I dont recall what color the wires are but you can test them with a test light.. If not someone on here can tell you the colors, they told me.. If you have the plug that goes into the t5 great I just gatherd some old plug and modified it to fit the t5 back up switch.. I finihed the swap this may.. It was fun.. the worst part was trying to get the right torque arm mount there are like 7 different combos of them in the gm book.. It also was delayed in shipping it came in 3 differnt pieces first half of it arrived then the bolts arrived the the outer half arrived... if you have any more ?'s email me Kevin

oops I forgot to say lower the column down with the four I think 15mm bolts that makes life alot easier and is one of the easier things to do in the whole swap I think.. I put the bellhousing first then the trans but I did it on the ground/ no hoist..do you have the Clucth MC holes done yet.. that was a little tricky take your time and you will be ok.. Kevin
