nwc T-5 to world class T-5 is it a straight swap?

hi everyone I assumed this was a straight bolt in swap,but u know what they say when u assume. Im getting ready to swap in a world class T-5 into my 87 camaro,should i expect any surprises.Any advice would be appreciated, thanks

No surprises. Everything is absolutely identical. About the only thing you need to look out for is the speedo gear on the mainshaft; obviously the new one has to be the same as the old one, or you'll have to change that to make the speedo read right. But your old one will work in the newer trans.

Engine: 305 ci tbi, 305 ci tpi, 350 ci tpi
Transmission: WC-T5, WC-T5, 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.45, 3.27, 3.27
Straight swap. Just remember the WC T5 uses automatic tranny fluid instead of gear oil.
