Is it possible to change my struts in my own driveway, in stead of going to a shop??

I think this is in the wrong forum, but anyway, yes... They are pretty easy to change. Jack up the front and put stands under the x-member (Not the a-arms) and then put the jack under the a-arm of the strut you're changing (so the spring doesn't fly out) take off the brake hose retainer, you may also want to take off the rotor, but i've done them w/o, it's just a little more difficult to get at the bolts. The top nut is under the plastic cover and is easiest to impact it. If it starts spinning, grab it with vice grips. Sometimes they are so difficult I just cut them off with air or a hacksaw. The bottom bolts could be difficult also...
