Firming up the stock worn out shifter in in A4 F-bodies?
Hey all, looking for some assistance with finding parts here.
My stock shifter has about a quarter inch of play in the handle when locked in gear. I always assumed it was because the shift cable might be worn out. But i just replaced that. So I can only assume that the white/plastic nylon part in the shifter is probably worn out and that is where the play is coming from.
I'd like to get the factory new feeling back in it again, anywhere else I should look? I don't want to replace the factory shifter with a B&M/hurst or anything else.
