Throwout bearing clip, do I need it?
Hi, I have a T56 and I just installed my clutch, after I got everything buttoned up and finished, that when I saw the throwout bearing retaining clip on the ground. Do I have to install it? will it hurt anything if its not, from what I gather its main use is during installation. Please help.. thanks

thanks for the help but I called spec clutches today and since I have a pull type clutch they said that it was only really needed fir the install. After the fork is on the TO bearing then it holds it in place and the clip isn't neccessary.
