Hey,

I read the reply about removing the TC. I also got the the bottom bolts off but I can't bend the TC high enough to make it parallel with the ground (thats what you did right?) let alone twist it 90*.

I am a strong guy but even with a prybar and a hadraulic jack I couldn't bend the TC more then 50-60* from teh flexplate. How the hell did you get it up that high? You juicing man?

If you could give me more detailed instructions I would appreciate it. Tommorow my friend's going to come over and help me with the removal.

Thanks for the help,
-Max

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner...somehow I missed your post. I did pull it by hand to a 90. I'm a big guy...6'4"-340# and I had to put some serious effort behind it. After I rotated it upside down I climed up on it and stood and it never budged any more. I'll include a picture of the result...bet you have a similar flexplate by now. Let me know what happened.

It was prolly easier for you casue you had the engine out. I had to do this with the engine still under the car. Anywasy after prying the TC about 70* up I spent an hour or two trying to break it off, then it hit me...

I just unscrewed the 5 or 6 bolts holding the flexplate (they were easy to get to now), took off the TC and the flexplate and then had no problems getting them seperated.

Thanks for the help,
-Max
