will a aluminiam driveshaft....
will one fit my th 350 tranny , like say if i go to the junkyard and pull one off a gta and did all gta's come with alu. driveshafts. okay thanx
No. The tailshaft is shorter on the TH350 which would require a longer driveshaft than the stock GTA piece.
You can either go with a custom piece (~$200 from Denny's Driveshaft) or try to find an '82-83 F-body with the TH200C trans which is the same length.

If you have a th350 with the long tailshaft, yes it will fit.

I've been told that the alum shaft will not fit TH350s, 82-83, but will fit overdrive trannies 83 to present. 88-97 cars should bolt in. Pre-88's may require a different sized rear U-joint--at least my 85 IROC did (as well as several people I've sold shafts to on this board).
