will a aluminiam driveshaft....

will one fit my th 350 tranny , like say if i go to the junkyard and pull one off a gta and did all gta's come with alu. driveshafts. okay thanx

No. The tailshaft is shorter on the TH350 which would require a longer driveshaft than the stock GTA piece.

You can either go with a custom piece (~$200 from Denny's Driveshaft) or try to find an '82-83 F-body with the TH200C trans which is the same length.

If you have a th350 with the long tailshaft, yes it will fit.

350 with stealth intake, holley carb, 470 lift cam. 700r4 with .5 boost valve, vette servo, tci lock-up kit, B&M megashifter. Richmond 3.73 gears, powertrax locker, timkin bearings, synthetic lube. Custom 3 inch single into 2 2.5 pipes. 1 1/2 drop springs, 1 5/16 solid front sway bar, 1 inch rear bar, custom subframe connectors, custom LCA relocation brackets. Kobel ground FX, currant red metallic paint. Lots of other stuff...

Axle/Gears: Limited Slip 3.23's
I've been told that the alum shaft will not fit TH350s, 82-83, but will fit overdrive trannies 83 to present. 88-97 cars should bolt in. Pre-88's may require a different sized rear U-joint--at least my 85 IROC did (as well as several people I've sold shafts to on this board).
