I have a 91 RS and when I got a hold of the car it had the SLP stainless tri-y headers/y-y-pipe . That is one reason I got the car but the tranny was slipping pretty bad. When I got the tranny rebuilt the local guy told me it had an SLP shift kit and he asked if I wanted to keep it in or not (duh, what do you think). So what exactly is the shift kit? I know that most are just different pressure springs and some slight line modification in the fluid "maze". What else? Are there more clutch plates than stock? Any info would be appreciated.

JP, try and get a hold of Dirk...he's got the SLP shift recalibration kit in his car, i talked to him about it before but it was awhile ago so i dont remember all the details....not much of an answer but that'll get u goin in the right direction
