Hello, I have a few questions. First, I bought a vigilante off a board member a while back. I'm getting my tranny rebuilt and the mechanic is giving me a good price for taking out and installing the tranny so I'm having him do it all. Today I took the TC over to the shop and pulled the tape off the TC shnout that had been put on to keep fluid in. The shnout was not as clear as I would have figured, not really scored, but then not as smooth as I figured. First, does the vig. have a hardened shnout ? I assume it does. Second, is there a preferred bushing to use in the front pump, could the last owner have used the wrong bushing and left the marks ? You don't really feel the marks, but see them more than I had anticipated for a low mile TC and I am more worried about a leak down the road at this point.
