A TH350 pan looks like a square with a corner cut off. They're more plentiful and the easiest and cheapest to install. The majority of the ones in trucks and vans will be a long tail shaft. cars usually have the short tail shaft. 3" difference. If you use a long tail shaft TH350, the stock f-body 700R4 driveshaft will fit with no modifications. Using the short tail shaft TH350 you need to find a driveshaft from an 82-83 f-body that had a 200C tranny.
The diesel engine trucks have a B-O-P bellhousing and the trannys won't bolt up to a chev bellhousing unless they have a dual bolt pattern. The popular swap for those trucks when the diesel engine died was to drop in an Oldsmobile engine.

I will only point out FYI that the T-350 was built in 5 lengths that I know of.
A standard 4x4 output shaft is the shortest, then an output shaft for a 208 transfer case, then a 6 inch tail housing, then a 9 inch and finally a 12 inch tail housing shaft .
The 6 inch is common in cars , but was used in early pick ups also. The 9 inch was common in trucks. The 12 inch unit was used in some station wagons.

I'd hate to list a bunch of cars that had a th350 because that same car probably had some different tranny option. The junkyards around here have them pulled, cleaned, and the fluid changed. You just have to ask for a th350 9 inch tailshaft.

They came in virtually every car with a small block V8, or a 6-cylinder, from 69 until about 78. After that they started mixing in some other ones. They also came in practically all trucks and vans.
The Chevy case T-350 might possibly be the most common trans on the face of the planet.

70s vans th350 were not long tail, tey were short just like in cars, the pickup ones 73-up were the oddball ones and were the long tail ones.
look for 13 bolts on pan with square shape and one corner hacked off and with a V8 or straight six engine in front of it
